30 Comments on Goodwill's Computer Drive in San Antonio, TX
Last year, Goodwill opened a new 'Goodwill Computer Works Store' ... the first in Dallas. Thanks for highlighting Goodwill ... I think they do great work!
Hi Jerry, Happy Father's Day. I think recycling unused computers are a good idea.
I just gave my "old" computer to my grandson. He will use it for school studies. I believe in
re-cycling everything we can to save Mother Earth.
Yes, Sharon. I just happened to have an old Compaq computer that has Windows XP on it. I will be turning it in tomorrow.
Hi Debbie, I remember donating my old computers from the late 90s to the church. They always found a use for them.
Hi Paula, You may want to check with a Goodwill in your area. I know they will be glad to get any old computers.
Hi Gretchen, I thought it was a great idea when I first heard about it on the Nightly News.
Yes, Kathy. Not only is it a Tax deduction, but there is a good chance to win that 2 night stay at the Hotel Contessa in downtown San Antonio.
Hi Cheryl. I heard about it on the 10 PM News the other night, and thought it would be a great topic to blog about. Many were probably wandering what to do with their old computers.
Hi Kevin, I would suggest that you call your local Goodwill, and let them know what we are doing in San Antonio. I am sure they will find a use for your old computers.
Yea, Lou. It is a nice cause, and a Win-Win for anyone who participates.
Hi Fred. You may want to check with your Local Goodwill. I am sure they will be glad to take them off your hands.
Thanks, Tom. For the reminder about destroying the hard drive with all our information on it.
Yes, Carie. Goodwill is doing some great things for locals in my area. It's a nice organzation to support.
Thanks, Irene for the Father's Day Wishes. Recycling old computers is a great idea, and giving them to Goodwill will help serve a nice cause too.
Jerry, how could I forget that too??? I guess that makes it a win-win-win-win!!!
Ditto, Kathy. It will be a nice Win-Win-Win-Win. Enjoy the Rest of your Day!
We also like to donate to Goodwill.
Have an outstanding week with your camera in hand.
Yes, Roy. Goodwill is a great place to donate. I plan to keep my camera in hand. Have a Great Week!
I do not think the Goodwill near my house takes computers. I will check it out.
Hi Gita. I would certainly ask the Goodwill near you if they take any used computers or parts. You may get some recommendations if they don't.
