Goodwill’s Computer Drive in San Antonio, TX

computersGoodwill has a critical need for computers and associated parts. Not only do they contain valuable e-parts, they also contain e-waste (electronic waste) which could prove harmful to Mother Earth.  When you bring your computers to Goodwill, they will do one of three things:

  • Repurpose: Many computers can be pieced apart and resold for e-parts
  • Rebuild: Many times, we can use systems as-is or re-construct new systems to resell in our stores
  • Recycle: Computers contain hazardous e-waste which could be dangerous if sent or incinerated in a landfill

Goodwill's Reconnect program, a partnership with Dell, collects and properly recycles computers and peripherals. In fact, Goodwill of San Antonio is an industry-leader in the Dell program and amount of recycled units that are processed!

Don't forget every donation to Goodwill is a tax-deductible contribution! From every donation, nearly 90 cents of every dollar earned goes directly back to Goodwill’s Mission: To help change lives through the power of work! So, get to donating and who knows, it could be you at Hotel Contessa!

I just gave my "old" computer to my grandson. He will use it for school studies. I believe in

re-cycling everything we can to save Mother Earth.
