PDA Phones

Last year I purchased a Moto Q PDA from Alltel & I loved it. It was the best investment I ever made next to my GPS. Then Apple decided to come out with the I-Phone & I thought that was really cool, so I called my personal rep @ Alltel & asked him when they were going to get a version of the I-Phone. He did not know at that time but yesterday he called me & said he had something he wanted me to come check out, so I drove down to Cary & met with him. You guys that have Alltel service should really check out the new HTC "TOUCH" phone. I liked it so good I bought one. It is very close to the I-Phone but smaller in size & it has everything you can think of. I thought I would have a difficult time figuring out all the software & how to use it, but it actually is fairly easy. Our agents in the office are amazed that this little phone can do so much, they have had alot of fun messing with mine this morning, I may not get it back. But in all seriousness, if you are with Alltel go by & check it out. It is well worth the money. They just came out last Thursday but they are selling like hotcakes. Have a great day!

These touch screens are a great technology.  I have the TREO.  The plans can be expensive.  I turned off the data piece and do not use the web and email functions somewhat becuase of cost but I found I wasn't using the functions (an eyesight thing).  I will be getting an aircard and tablet PC very soon which will allow me to be like the commercial in the lake, ditch, etc.  My husband has the IPod Touch and uses that like a PDA.  He carried a Palm PDA for years and lost his (yikes!).  He just needs quick contact access and calendar functions which the IPod touch offered.  The technology is fantastic with the "touch" screens and I am really impressed with the display.
