The Long Island Fair is September 27th to the 30th at Old Bethpage Village Restoration located at 1303 Round Swamp Road in Old Bethpage, New York.
This fair is New York State's longest running County Fair. There are prize winning vegetables, flowers, crafts, farm wagon rides, pony rides and more.
The fair is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m and Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for children from 5 to 12. Senior citizens, 60+ will also pay $8.

When I was a girl about 9 or 10 my mom made a huge quilt. Big quilting frame that took up half the living room for ages. Now that I'm all grown up I have such a better appreciation for all things handmade with love. Sounds like an awesome fair and very worthy of my bucket list.
I have about 35 quilts from Granny's house and people say they are worth around 300 a piece, they were made in the 30,40 and 50's.
What a beautiful quilt. I love our county fair, look at the crafts, canned goods, fresh produce, animals, and see all the neighbors.
