4 of 10 people have done a self assesment

CMHA has done a recent survey and found that 4 out of 10 buyers had gone online to do a self assessment to find out what their financial situation was. It is always a good idea to know what you are getting yourself into before taking the plunge. This will give you an idea of what you could buy .You get to know if you can actually afford a house before going through the entire process to find out in the end that you can't afford it. You still need to get your Mortgage Broker or bank to get you pre-aproved, but this is a step in the right direction.
