Well, it only took them three attempts polling the delegates, during the Democrat National Convention floor fight, to come to the conclusion that it might just be a better bet to bring God back into the Party platform.
That said, it was nothing short of painful (in an enjoyable and totally entertaining kind of way), to hear the three separate voice votes, each with the volume of “yeas” and “nays” being virtually indistinguishable!
Apparently, the acoustics must have been better down there on the Convention floor, the third time around, because anyone who wasn't there would have been hard pressed to call it a two-third/ one-third vote to pass.
Go figure!
