Last weeks stats for Home sales in Tooele County are in, and things are not so bad around Tooele valley. We are only reporting on the major areas of the county, Stansbury Park,Tooele City, Grantsville, and Erda. As we have mentioned before, this accounts for about 98% of houses sold.
Since it's our goal to provide our clients with the most current, accurate and unbiased Real Estate Information in the Valley, we update this report weekly. We hope it proves helpful.

Tooele County Home Sales Info: 1/14 thru 1/20/08
Current Listings: There are currently 460 single family homes listed in Stansbury Park, Grantsville, Tooele City and Erda Ut. These do not include New Homes, or New Construction, nor FSBOs (for sale by owners). Of these, only 17 are listed as being possible Bank sales.
Homes Closed: Four homes closed during this time frame, 3 in Tooele City and 1 in Grantsville. The 3 Tooele houses were $132, $147, and $155,000. The Grantsville property was one half acre w/ animal rights @ about $310,000.
New Contracts Written: Ten contracts were written with an average price of $170,000. When the mobil home is removed from the equation, the average is almost $184,000.
Eight contracts were written on Tooele houses, with 1 each in Stansbury Park, and Grantsville, Ut.
New Home Listings: Homes listed by area are ... Tooele 19, Grantsville 10, Stansbury Park 8, Erda 1. Average listing price of the 38 units is $235,000.
