The Woodlands, TX not only has beautiful nature areas, it also is filled with over 125 developed parks! Play Grounds fill 81 of them and they provide the perfect place to enjoy a beautiful day like today was.
My family and I enjoyed Terramont Park today! It is complete with over 16 acres that include a giant playground, covered pavilion with tables, basketball courts, tennis courts, skateboarding park, a Frisbee Gold Course, Soccer Fields, pathway and even a “BARK” Park! This park has something for everyone and we are so glad we live in such a beautiful neighborhood where we can enjoy places like Terramont Park.
A great addition to all the beautiful parks in The Woodlands, are the over 190 miles of pathways that lead to these parks as well as schools, churches, village shopping centers, and many neighborhoods. The parks that pathways lead to, range from those that have been here since The Woodlands started 30 years ago to those that were built and added this year! The Woodlands continues to add incredible parks, pathways, and green spaces to our neighborhood. Additionally, there are often events going on from time to time at some of the parks.
There are more than 3,000 acres of protected open space here in The Woodlands as well as 3 lakes and many ponds throughout. Some even have catch and release fishing!
So get out and enjoy the many parks of The Woodlands today! You will be glad you are taking in all that The Woodlands has to offer!
