Welcome to Windridge condominiums and townhouses in Monroe, New York.
This community has several phases and was built between 1979 and 1997.
It consists of condominiums and townhouses. The condos are one level and have 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths and are about 1062 square feet. The townhouses are two levels and three levels and have 2 bedrooms or 3 bedrooms and 1.5 to 2.5 baths, and range in size from about 1334 square feet to about 1960 square feet, when the basement is finished.
The townhouses either have 1 car garages and parking in front of the garage or they have carports or outdoor parking.
The first floor of the townhouses have a living room and dining room combination, an eat-in-kitchen, and half bath. Many of them have fireplaces to enjoy on those cold winter days and nights.
The second floor typically has a master bedroom and a master bath and either one or two additional bedrooms, and another full bath.
Master bedrooms frequently have terraces to enjoy.
When the basements of these townhouses are finished, they usually have a family room.
Many of the units have updated kitchens and bathrooms. The kitchens often have granite countertops, custom wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and ceramic tile floors.
Living in Windridge feels like country living at its best.
Most of the townhouses have scenic views of mountains, a lake and/or a pond with fountains. It is such a joy to see glorious sunrises and dramatic pink sunsets over the mountains and lake and to be surrounded by nature.
The townhouses and condos have decks and patios to enjoy.
Delight in having barbecues year round!
There are many amenities in this community including a clubhouse, a pool, a lake to fish in and to enjoy canoeing, kayaking and rowboating, playgrounds, basketball courts and tennis courts.
As I drove through this beautiful community, I enjoyed the lush landscaping and ponds and fountains.
As a pet lover I am happy to say that pets are allowed!
Windridge condos and townhouses is convenient for commuters going into New York City. The NJ Transit train station is nearby. Taking a train from this station, you will be able to reach NYC by going to either Hoboken or Secaucus. If you go to Hoboken, you will be able to take the Port Authority Trans Hudson (PATH) train to either lower Manhattan or 34th Street and 8th Avenue. The drive to NYC is about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
This community is also close to major highways, such as the NYS thruway (I-87), Route 17 and Route 17 A.
This complex is near the wonderful Woodbury Commons Premier Outlet stores and many lakes and mountains.
