Whether you are a full time resident of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands or just here on vacation. Some people don't feel like cooking on the holiday, It is nice to take a break and to use that time to fully enjoy the family.
One of my choices for dining out for holidays is the The Ritz Carlton. Normally I shy away from buffets but this one is exquisite. On most holidays there is a lavish banquet prepared and severed in a large dining room just off of the water. The ambiance is great and the service is special.
Another recommendation I would make for Thanksgiving on St. Thomas while you are in the Virgin Islands is The Banana Tree Grill, besides really good food, the restaurant is located at Blue Beards Castle, perched atop a hill with open walls. The view of the harbor is spectacular and you can watch the cruise ships leave port, all lit up; the flash of passengers snapping photos as they sail away lets you know they are capturing the last moments of a memorable time.
Yet another choice for dining out in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands is Grande Cru, Located front and center in Yacht Haven Grand and the center of the harbor in Charlotte Amalie, where large cruise ships and luxury yachts dock so you are up close and personal with them. The flavor of the food is subtle and delicious. There is unexpected play with textures and appearances, I find delightful.
All of these locations will require reservations, especially for Thanksgiving or other holidays but you won't be disappointed. St. Thomas is known for good dining in the Virgin Islands.
