Warm Up With the Hottest Jazz Around

It's back for the 2nd year! Mohegan Manor will be hosting January JAZZfest 2013 on Sunday January 27th.

If you love jazz, you already know this is a can't miss event. You can get out of the cold, hunker down, and take in the smooth sounds of your favorite artist, or cruise from floor to floor for a sampling of the various jazz offerings. From blues to cabaret to funk, there will be music (and food!) on every floor.

Beginning at 1pm, Jim O'Mahoney will be laying down his signature riffs at Club Sushi on the lower level, while LuBossa will be heating things up in the street level lounge with their sophisticated acoustic and vocal sounds. The music continues throughout the afternoon and also throughout the building with Latin and Salsa from Syracuse's own Grupo Son Boricua, Syracuse Blues Fest "SOS" Blues Band, and the funky sounds of E.S.P. & Friends.

Headliner Tony Monaco Quintet with Cookie Coogan will be performing the hottest B-3 around beginning at 4:30 upstairs in the ballroom. Stick around for a real treat: All-Star Jam Session with Jeff Stockham's Jazz Police in Club Sushi at 6pm.

It's Not Just the Jazz

What's a visit to Mohegan Manorwithout some food? Satisfy your hunger at the food stations featuring selections from the restaurant's 4-star menu. Indulge in your favorite specialities, as well as their famous sushi, while you sway to the music. And of course your favorite drinks will also be available throughout the day.
