My Website should have this....and that....
I remember my first website - when websites were just beginning to mushroom in our industry.
I 'wow'ed my client by giving them their OWN page - now known as sub-domain or third level domain.
The only thing I did then was created a client's folder and linked it to IDX with their credentials. Since then we have come a long way.
I am sure you'd agree with me if I say technology in Real Estate has taken a quantum leap in last decade - with a major contribution from ActiveRain by sharing the knowledge. Thanks to many others, you may have found them in Top 100 of Inman year after year. I'll not hesitate to include a name I adore for his contribution to our industry - Chris Smith, co-founder of Tech Savvy Agent.
Well, I got side-tracked, as usual. I think I should focus on The ONE Thing - list at least three things that I want for my website.
There are many more things that I'd wish my website should have. Limiting to just 3 may be a challenge, though.
For example, I should always be on #1 page for Google for most towns I work in, multiple indexed pages, automated follow up as soon as lead lands into my CRM (a back-end of my site) through Call-to-action as well as all CORRECT information of this MICKY MOUSE lead and....
Okay, let me focus on The ONE Thing, again.....here they are (and I'll make it simple)..
#1. Dynamic CMA for the sellers (No Zestimate, please.....)
#2. Online Tour for the buyers - of ALL the intriguing homes - as if they are sitting in the car and previewing the homes.
#3. Referral Directory for Instant contact with my referral network.
My Website should have this....and that....
