I'll never tell... or admit that there's a part of me that loves "B" and "C" buyers.
Shhhh... Don't tell! It goes against most things that we read about how to be successful in this business.
I know that we are taught in this business to focus all of our energy and effort on those "A" buyers as those are the ones that are ready to go right now.
Don't get me wrong, I love an "A" buyer, but as a real estate agent in Central PA there's a certain sense of pride that comes along with helping a First Time Home Buyer purchase a home after years of getting their credit together and saving money along the way.
In my opinion this is where many agents drop the ball in their business. Easily forgetting about "B" and "C" buyers because they're not in a position to be pre-approved right now.
It's amazing how many people have reached out to us because their agent stopped responding to them.
As agents we put our time, energy, efforts, and marketing dollars into generating leads but the majority of agents ignore the slow dime in order to make the quick nickel.
There's a certain level of satisfaction and feeling of accomplishment that comes from handing your buyers keys to their very first home after they worked so hard to put themselves in a position to purchase and knowing that we contributed to it.
Don't get me wrong, this is a business, and I enjoy the compensation that selling real estate provides but it was helping individuals and families with the purchase or sell of a home that brought me into this business.
Helping people buy or sell homes in Central PA is what I love to do. I plan on being in this business for a very long time so why not start to build my pipeline now?
