 If running is your thing, the Lake Norman area is the place to be!  With at least 18 running events in Huntersville, Cornelius, and Davidson between now and September, there is sure to be something for you.  Check them out…

Huntersville

April 20^th – Rural Hill Ultra Trail Run 5K – 9:00 a.m.    Registration is $35.

April 27^th – Birkdale Animal Hospital Kids Triathlon – 5:00 p.m. 

Registration is $25.

April 28^th – Sprint Triathlon – 8:00 a.m.  Registration is $65 before April 25^th and $70 before April 28^th.  For information go to www.hffa.com .

May 11^th – Run Wild 5K & Wild Child Fun Run – 5K registration is $25 and the Fun Run is $10.  For information go to www.facebook.com/RunWildACP .

 May 18^th – Kiwanis Club of Lake Norman 5K – Registration is $25 for adults and $20 for youth.  Cost for families of three to six people is $60.  Race day registration is $30.  For information go to http://davidsontiming.com/category/races/ .

May 19^th – Birkdale Animal Hospital Kids Triathlon, Race 2 – 2 p.m.  Registration is $25.

June 1^st – Warrior Dash Carolinas – Obstacle course mud-race registration is $60 until May 1^st, $65 until May 22^nd, and $80 until May 28^th.  Registration closes on May 28^th.  For more information/registration go to www.warriordash.com .  Click on locations to find Huntersville.

June 16^th – Birkdale Animal Hospital Kids Triathlon, Race 3 – 2 p.m.  Registration is $25. 

July 21^st – Birkdale Animal Hospital Kids Triathlon, Race 4 – 2 p.m.  Registration is $25.  A festival will follow this final race in the series.

Cornelius

May 11^th - Jetton Park Triathlon – Registration is $65 for an individual participant and $115 for a relay team.  Online registration closes May 8^th. 

Davidson

April 13^th – Pawz Too Run 5K and 10K – 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.  Village Green, downtown Davidson…part of the Running for Our Communities Race Series.  For information/registration go to www.friendsoftheanimals.net .

April 27^th – Miles for Marnie 5K – Registration for the 5K Run/Walk is $25 before race day and $30 the day of the race.  The Kids’ Fun Run is $10.  For information go to www.marniejudefoundation.org/Events .

August 31^st – XTERRA N.C.
