What’s really cool about this revival is the fact that it is put on by 5 local churches.
This year each of these pastors will invite a guest preacher to team preach with them for their night!
Supper is served at 5:30 and it is inexpensive. For only $2.50 per plate you will enjoy an entree, a drink AND dessert!
Then at 6 p.m. there will be congregational singing followed by some great preaching.
This year we’re starting off Camp Meeting with a bang! By that, I mean that Brother Jim Parrish drew opening night. (Monday, April 15, 2013)
Brother Jim Parrish is from Burning Hope in Trinity, Texas and he will get the crowd on fire for Jesus and ready for a revival.
On Tuesday night, April 16th, we will have Brother Jason Bay from First Baptist Church, Dodge Texas. Brother Jason hit a home run with his message last year. We are expecting the same thing this year!
Wednesday Evening Broyles Chapel will be there and Brother Ural Massey will pack out the tent. You might want to get here early... it’s always standing room only when Brother Massey preaches! That's Wednesday, April 17, 2013!
Brother Jim Newton from Riverside Baptist Church drew the Thursday night spot. Over the years Brother Jim has pulled all kinds of surprises at camp meeting. One year he even had a hurst drive up and a casket rolled in. He preached his whole sermon from behind the casket. Seriously... you never know what to expect with him, and I can hardly wait to see what God gave him this year.
We will finish up the week with Brother Kyle Costner from Faith Baptist Church. We are so thankful to have Brother Kyle. He’s no newbie. This is his 4th camp meeting. It all started as a fill in for another church. Now he’s a regular -- and BOY does he add a level of excitement to our group! Thank you, Jesus ~ for sending us Faith Baptist Chursh!
This will be my 6th year to attend this multi-church revival. I woudn't even THINK of missing a single day!!
