If you are trying to sell a vacant home, it is a good idea to give the prospective buyers a little help in visualizing the home's potential by properly staging it.

Sometimes it is hard for people to see themselves in a home that is completely vacant with no decorations or furniture and it is hard to visualize where all their furniture will go if they were to purchase the home.

You don't always have to spend a lot of money to benefit from staging. Sometimes a little is better than nothing at all. Instead of filling everyroom with full furnishings consider just putting a few small items like immitation plants, accessories, decorator items, some small modern furniture pieces that are not too heavy and easy to move later. You will be surprised what a few items spead around the home can do for the feel and look of the home.

When staging your home try to see it from the perspective of a potential buyer. Ask yourself if it will improve the homes look or hamper the look and feel of the home. After doing a little bit of staging ask friends and family for objective feedback and make adjustments accordingly. So, give it a try and have fun with it, and try not to spend too much and stick within a budget.

Happy Staging and Good Luck!

Until Next Time!
