A few of the things that get in the way of making a good business decision may be your current mindset about your beloved home and may include:

• I have added many expensive improvements.
• I know the price I want to ask, it is worth every dollar and if a buyer doesn't like it, my home is not for them.
• I want to make a profit, including the closing costs when I purchased it the cost of selling it.  Yes, it is true many home owners think this way and will price it right out of the market.   

Start your engines Mr. and Mrs. CEO, put on your CEO hat, hang on tight while you race to the closing table. Welcome aboard, you are well qualified for the job.  You must look at it through the eyes of a CEO as well as the eyes of potential buyers.
