Sovereign Bank: $600,000 for North Philly economic revitalization

Sovereign Bank is teaming up with Nueva Esperanza to revitalize the hispanic district of eastern North Philadelphia. Sovereign bank has pledged $600,000 dollars in six yearly installments of $100,000. Nueva Esperanza plans on promoting home ownership as well as providing economic opportunities through social programs.
