Do You Feel the POWER of the Power Point presentation?

By
Home Stager with Renewed Rooms

I'm the first to admit...I LOVE Power Point presentations.  I had been making Photo Shows for my clients as part of the Renewed Rooms Signature Marketing package the day I had my first client over two years ago and started supplementing Power Point slides to show statistics within the show.

Then I attended a masters class with Sandy Dixon and my love for Power Point exploded!  We had to create several presentations and present to our group.  I used Power Point as my presentation tool and realized it was my key to staying on task with any presentation...especially when the crowd seemed a little intimidating and I was feeling a bit of stage freight.

Power Point is not only an effective visual tool in helping the audience disseminate the information you are sharing...it helps keep me on task with any subject I'm presenting.  I stay within my allotted time and always get positive feedback from homeowners and Realtors.

Because of the Power of the Power Point...word has gotten around.  I have been invited to share my presentation and am scheduled for Realtors Sales meetings EVERY Tuesday for the next 2 1/2 months!  But that's not all...I have also been asked to present a staging workshop at the Century 21 North & South Carolina Sales Rally which will be held March 11 & 12 in Charlotte!

It Works...try it!

Renee:  I am going to have to send one of my newbies to hear your presentation as I'm going to be out of town the 11th and the 12th, but would LOVE to see what you do!  I'm sure that with your profession, the before and afters in your presentation are incredible!  Congratulations on your PP success!

Hey Renee!  Powerpoint is one carry-over from my former professional life that really gets the job done.  I enjoy doing presentations to Realtors.  Using it for proposals works well too.  Julie

Renee, you are absolutely right. I don't know how I would get along without PowerPoint. I also use it for proposals and slide shows. Good luck at the sales meetings.

Renee, I too am a big fan of Powerpoint.  It is just so darned flexible and I love the fact that I can place anything I want, any where I want.  Several years ago we put together a Powerpoint presentation with voice over.  It turned out great and it seemed to hold the groups attention.

Hi Renee! LOVE Powerpoint!!! I really struggle getting up in front of a group, but it's SO much easier when I feel like there is something else for people to look at besides ME!!! And they always eat up those before and after photos!!!

Renee, I created my first PP last year, and I love it! It was a ton of fun to do, and I get rave reviews when I show it. One PP  is just an ongoing slide show of my staging before and afters. I had going at my vendors table during a Realtor's seminar. Way to go with the invitations for workshops!

Hi Renee - I agree and love power points as well. I think they can be a little too much (too many, too long) sometimes for long presentations -- but I Love Love Love them for before and after slide shows. Have fun with all the "Tuesday Nights with Pratta" gig. :-)

Hi Renee,

Great post!

People remember most of what they hear and see.  If they interact with you, they remeber 90% of the dialogue!
