Everyone knows about this illness. Seems this year is worse than usual. The vaccine is only having about a forty percent effectiveness rate. The normal is up around seventy percent. Every year the flu people (CDC) basically guess what strain of virus will be most prevalent this year. They often make this decision in August when the strain start showing up in Asia. They actually have a pretty good success rate. This year however they didn't and the United States has many flu cases nationwide. The hospitals are filled to capacity and emergency rooms are overwhelmed.
Take your flu shot next year. Even if they miss you still have a better chance of staying healthier. Have a nice weekend.
