Putting the boat in the water

Believe it or not, it is that time again...or at least it was for two days.  For two glorious days it was 80 degrees and for one of them I was actually able to spend some time on the boat under the warm Texas sun.  Of course now we are back to 40 and 50 degree weather, but with that slight taste of sunshine, it got me excited for the Lake season all over again.  If you haven't lived on the lake, what's stopping you?  One of my favorite things in the world is coming home early from work and being able to have an afternoon cocktail cruise on gorgeous Lake Travis, nothing beats it.  Well nothing except when I have done my hard days work and come home for a moonlight boat cruise.  It is truly enchanting.  I believe that is why people come to the lake, for the excitement of what waits for them at any given moment, and the relaxation that automatically happens when the water is in sight.  Have you experienced it lately?  I guarantee it is some of the best medicine for your soul that you could ever take.
