The Real Estate Market & total number of Homes for Sale on the North Shore of Long Island continued to sizzle through the month of August, 2013. In this Seller’s Market with multiple offers becoming commonplace, a recent National Association of Realtors survey showed that “Real Estate Buyers who use Accredited Buyer Representatives, ABR*s, procure properties for better prices and terms than those who don’t.” The role of a Buyer Representative is necessary when buying a home from a Seller who is represented by their Listing Agent. To me it’s simple, if an expert is representing a party I want to do business with, I need my own expert and representative. It levels the playing field and makes things fair.
When working with an experienced Real Estate Buyer Broker and Businessperson you’re retaining an expert, with the experience to handle the intricacies of negotiating the purchase price and terms, recommending the necessary professional and seeing the deal through to the closing. This will save you time and money, there’s no learning curve for the leaned!
In my last report, I show a Historical Chart and discuss the 30 Year Fixed Rate Mortgage, using history to forecast the future. Following is the August 2013 year over year report. Great Neck Sales Up 46.2%!!
