Halloween Events in Bucks County, PA 2013
Every year, the Bucks County, PA area has some fantastic Halloween special events. The four events below range from spooky to bone-chillingly frightening and if you've lived here for any amount of time you know what I'm talking about because you've attended them yourself. If you are new to the area, or just visiting, you absolutely want to take some time to join in the fun at one of these four Bucks County Halloween attractions.
The Bates Motel in Glen Mills, PA
America's Most Horrifying Hotel. One of America's Scariest Haunts.
That's how The Bates Motel at Arasapha Farm in Glen Mills, PA is described. So, enter if you dare. And that's not all. As Bucks County Alive explains, "Once you've had the daylights scared out of you in the namesake-haunted house, venture out on a heart-pounding hayride and a zombie-filled corn maze." Basically, what we're trying to say is: be prepared to scream!

Sleepy Hollow at Active Acres Farm
Picture this: the sun goes down and the field around you is dark. What's a Bucks County resident to do? Well, you could hitch a ride on the Sleepy Hollow Haunted Hayride. But, just like any scary movie, that was a bad move. So, you head into the Haunted House. Except ... duh! ... it's a Haunted House! So, you end up running out into the Field of Fright. Yep. You're a goner for sure.

HorrorFest at Shady Brook Farm
OK, so I'm pretty sure EVERY farm in Bucks County, PA has some sort of spooky hayride, haunted house, or corn maze that will scare the pants off anybody. However, the only I always considered "a must" is Shady Brook Farm. All I have to say is good luck surviving Shady Brook's Wooded Acres without somebody to hang on to!

Howl-O-Ween Celebration at the Doylestown Dog Park
Who doesn't love puppies in costume? I know I do. If only my pug would let me dress her up! Come out and let your dog enjoy a beautiful fall morning courtesy of Doylestown Parks & Rec. Enter your dog in a costume contest for a chance at prizes, check out some agility demonstrations, and support local businesses. Guaranteed to be a "howling" good time.
