Virginia, the most beautiful state in the US
Ok, I said it, Virginia is the most beautiful state in the United States, even North America. Some may say its is subjective. I say it is true. Do you enjoy sunset walks along the beach or a after dark hike in the woods with thousands of stars int he sky to light your way? Maybe you enjoy walking the historic cobble stone streets or modern high rises. Do you enjoy fine wines or prefer fresh, clean water? Do you crave thriving urban areas with lots of nightlife or peaceful evenings with friends and family? Virginia has it all!
Where to start?
Our nation started at Jamestown, the first permeate English settlement in North America. Children of all ages enjoy visiting there and seeing what early life was like in the colonies. Not far away is Colonial Williamsburg, a fantastic place to visit and see how we had progressed by the mid 1700's.
Head West and visit Richmond. The Capitol of the Confederacy is a mix of history and modern living. You can visit the Historic Plantation homes or one of the best art museums in the country! The Virginia Museum of Fine arts has an amazing collection of historical and modern art.
Virgina is the home of several of our Nations Presidents. A visit to VA would not be complete without going to at least one of their homes such as Mount Vernon or Monticello.
If you enjoy the great outdoors, VA has something for everyone! Enjoy Virginia Beach or the Chesapeake Bay. How about taking a boat ride on one of the many rivers or lakes. Visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, taking in the mountain vistas some some of the best preserved land in America.
I could go on and on about the natural beauty in Virginia
But the one reason I say Virginia is the most beautiful state is.. the people!
Visit any area of the state to find kind, southern hospitality. Everywhere you go people greet you with a smile and a big Hello! When people ask you"how are you?" they actually care.
I suggest you visit Virgnia to see why it is the most Beautiful state in the US.
And thebest part, I can make it to any location in Virginia from Bedford within a few hours.
