I am thankful for living in the GREAT STATE OF TEXAS!

There is no other like Texas, we are proud of our country, and proud of being a Texan!

People come here from out of state for the mild winters; however it takes some time to adjust to hot summers.

Most everyone wears cowboy boots, and western hats, I love seeing the cowboys in their starched jeans, and bright red shirt, and I never saw a cowboy who couldn't dance, oh my are they a sight to behold to watch them spinning around the dance floor, and their dance card is always full, as people get in line to dance with them!

We have songs we love, "Deep in the Heart of Texas as well as others that are unique to Texas.

"Y'all come, you hear!" "I'm fixin to go."

We need to visit Texas again. It has been too long since our last trip.

Good morning, Roy, you and Delores should make that trip. There is a five star hotel at The Harbor on the waterfront of Lake Ray Hubbard, by the way I live within in walking distance of The Harbor to dine and see the latest movies, and enjoy being on the patios with those great views.

We are close enough to Dallas to do anything you want to do.

I think I would enjoy living in Texas especially for the dancing. I used to do C&W dancing when it was the rage.
