Lawrence Virtual Tour started about 8 months ago, when I was looking for a fun part time activity. I enjoyed my corporate job, but the commute to Topeka and my young family was just getting too much to handle!
(That's my young family, Juliette is now 20 months, and Nicholas just turned 5. Aren't they cute???)
So one day, I sat down and started to make a list of what I like to do and what I am good at. I found that my list was not too long and was as followed: I love taking pictures and especially making movies, editing them, and showing how my family has been growing over the years. My family is in Europe, so this is something I wanted to learn for the grand mas to watch! I became very good at using windows movie maker, and paint pro shop (advanced image editing software). I also love, love, love visiting houses. I am curious! sorry! On my list too, was gardening and sewing, but couldn't quite figure out what to do with those two. Oh, I am also very good at making power point presentations, after years of practice and hours of teaching (did I mention that in a previous life I was teaching at the university?). So anyway, I looked at my list and here I am. Thinking. Surfing the web. And I found real tour vision. Not too hard, they are the number one on google if you happen to type virtual tours... ah ah ah... And called them, talk to them, and here I was, 4 months later, starting my own business. I have been trained on the virtual tour sotfware. I received EXTENSIVE litterature on marketing and how to make my business successful. I build up my website from scratch (I used to have one when I was a student, again to post pictures for my family back in Europe... remember that we are now takling easily 10 years ago....).
