Reservations for Two Christmas Eve at Outback Prince Frederick MD....
Mom and I went to Outback tonight to celebrate the life of my childhood friend who lost her battle with Cancer Sept 7. Today would have been her Birthday. Over the three plus decades of our friendship, we would routinely go out for her Birthday Celebration either the 24th or a day immediately surrounding Christmas Eve.
We made reservations for two at our favorite table number 7 where she would join me, Mom and my Dad regularly.
As the hostess lead us back she confirmed ...reservations for three, right?
I could hardly talk. 'No," I said, "They were clearly for two. But thank you, that was very special you said that to us on Christmas Eve."
It made our night. Mom and I agreed, she was with us tonight.
Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday to my Friend. Merry Christmas and Special Blessings to those of you who have also lost a family member, friend or loved one. Over the Holidays take the time to stop, look and listen. Who knows? They may be right there.
