Parenting Teens Support Group

Come learn from and be supported by other parents and an experienced psychotherapist, Mandi Mader, LCSW-C. This group is held on the third Monday of every month. When faced with a teenager, parents often find that what worked with their younger child, does not work with their teen. Topics to include: handling anger, setting limits, effective communication, stress management, teen social issues, etc.

Gardening for the Butterfly Life Cycle Talk

Our featured speaker, Kathy Stevens of Brookside Gardens, will talk about how gardeners can support all stages of the butterfly life cycle in their gardens and why that is an important thing to do. She will share specific plants and general planting design ideas as well as garden maintenance strategies and about specific needs of several butterfly species.
