Hewitt National Night Out is slated for Thursday July 31, 2014. You wont want to miss this community event sponsored by the Hewitt Police Department and numerous local businesses.
The event will be held in the Midway Middle School Parking Lot from 6 pm - 9 pm. There will be live music from the Brett Hendrix Band, hot dog, cold drinks, a bounce house for the kiddos, carnival games and information about crime prevention in our neighborhoods.
National night out is an annual event that has been held since 1984. The event is meant to raise awareness about police programs in communities such as drug prevention, town watch, neighborhood watch and other anti-crime efforts.
