The Fall Housing Market 2014 Looks Good for Home Buyers
Quick funny story. This summer, I took clients on an eight house tour. The homes were in Rockville, Potomac and Kensington Maryland, neighborhoods just outside of Washington DC. At the second house on our tour, we met a couple who we saw again at the next house. In fact, by the end of our house tour, we were with several other couples who had all gone to, or were going to, the same houses on our list! 
It's a different story this Fall. The inventory is up and the crowds are down. Just this morning, we found a beautiful brick Colonial for our clients. We talked to the listing agent who explained she had no other contracts. Good news for our clients!
According to The Washington Post, market analyst are seeing inventory and demand leveling out in the Washington DC area. Inside the Beltway and in Northern Virginia, the real estate market is stable. Homes for sale in Howard and Upper Montgomery counties are spending more days on the market.
