The Westfield Y Men's Club 2014 Christmas Tree Lot marks the 61st year that the club has operated their Christmas tree lot. As a Board Member for the Men's Club and tree wrangler myself, I am honored to say that this has become a beloved Westfield community tradition. In fact, if you see me at the lot when you visit, feel free to come up to me and say "hi".
By the close of business on Christmas Eve, the Westfield Y Men's Club 2014 Christmas Tree Lot will have trucked in somewhere around three tractor-trailer loads of trees for members of the local Westfield community to peruse. We have Fraser Firs and Douglas Firs, Balsam wreaths for the door or to hang over the fireplace, pine roping, tree stands and even smaller table-top trees for beautiful centerpieces at the dining room table or perfect accents for people with very small spaces to work with.
The Westfield Y Men's Club 2014 Christmas Tree Lot is the primary method of raising money for the Club's activities throughout the rest of the year. These include grants that are given out to various community projects and charities. Throughout its inception, the Westfield Y Men's Club has given away more than $2 million in grants. Your contribution to our cause is greatly appreciated.
Whenever you decide to pick up your Christmas tree this season, I truly hope it will be at the Westfield Y Men's Club 2014 Christmas Tree Lot. The money you spend will be put right back into our community. Make sure you seek me out while you're there, too. I'd love to see you in person!
