It's our second year River Festival Event!!!

Here's YOUR chance to participate in ServiceMaster Quality Cleaning's  "Mayhem in the Moat"
R/C boat races at Exploration Place

Don't have the time, money, or manpower to commit to creating a bathtub racer or parade float?

Want to participate in a second year River Festival Event? Or how about benefitting Big Brothers and Big Sisters?

Then THIS is the event for you!!

You'll have a blast racing these boats in the moat at Exploration Place, on Thursday, May 15.  And you'll have the chance to win a trophy if you're the best racer!

But, its not just about the racing!  Trophies will also be awarded for best decoration of the boats as well!

Yes, we are back for a second year!  And its bigger and better than ever!  Here at April 7, we have 25 boats registered, and we expect another dozen or so by the deadline.  Make sure you are one of them.  With the bathtub races being cancelled next year, THIS event is poised to be THE event that offers individuals and companies the opportunity to participate in Riverfest.

All boats will be on display at Towne West during the River Festival so that the public can choose their favorite designs for each division.   $200 will cover your boat, battery, charger, (a $268 value) entry fee, and river festival button, and, after the event, you still have the boat to display with pride!

But, if you don't want to participate, you can still play a part in the event by sponsoring a boat for a Big Brothers / Big Sisters match team!  $100 will get your company name and logo on one side of a boat that will be given to BBBS for a match team to decorate and race. Or, with a $200 donation, you can be responsible for providing the entire boat to the team.

Register by April 18 at Timber Creek Hobbies, 838 N. Baltimore (El Paso Shopping Center), in Derby.  788-0604  Or, for sponsorship info or more information about the event, call Lynnett Harrell at ServiceMaster Quality Cleaning at 943-9834.
