I am super excited to have just ordered Google's Project Tango Developer Kit!
I hope that I can team up with a Boise State University intern and / or my web guru friends at www.TourRE.com that might be willing to help me implement this great tool for my real estate brokerage - Progressive Realty Corporation.
I thought about buying a Matterport camera, but the idea of lugging a $4,500 camera didn't really apeal to me. However, this device is about the size of a tablet computer instead.
These devices are mind blowing in that is even being used by NASA to navigate the space station. Then, realizing that I am about to try to implement this technology with a fraction of their knowledge is a bit daunting. "If you can do sensor fusing and depth perception . . . there are some truly unique opportunities".
I hope I can help develop some of those opportunities to help me sell more homes in Boise!
