I rejoice in the opportunity to be an intercessor. I walk in awareness that history belongs to the intercessors.... those who believe and pray the future into being. Prayers of those who lift someone or something else up (intercede) brings heaven to a standstill. Why you ask .... because someone is praying. Everything else takes a back seat so our prayers can be heard before God. Heaven opens up to hear those prayers, the prayer of ordinary people who intercede on behalf of someone else with extraordinary faith. God sent his Son to intercede for us. His active ministry lasted only a few years, his intercessory ministry has been going on for over two thousand years. It is what brings people to pastors, ministers and believers in crisis.....someone to intercede and pray on their behalf. Are you struggling with something today? A health issue... a family crisis.... financial factors..... a business venture? Can I encourage you to take it to God and to find someone to join you on your behalf. "For where to or more gather together in my name, there I am also."
