Senior Art Showcase at
Pine Bush High School

Last night was the opening of the Senior Art Showcase at Pine Bush High School.  I just wanted to congratulate all of our talented youth on their work that will be on display in the halls of the high school all month.  There were works in many media including photography, sculpture, watercolor, pastels, oils, acrylics, and mixed media.  What a talented group!  I also applaud the great teachers who help them realize their potential.

Pine Bush High School offers a wide variety of programs for students with varied interests.  They have several academies which specialize in courses that give the students exposure to concentrations through the Human Service Academy, Law Academy, Pre-Engineering and Technology Academy, Academy of Finance, and they are one of the few schools in the region to offer the International Baccalaureate Program.  A Fine Arts Academy is in the planning stages.

If you are looking for a great place to raise your children consider looking in the Pine Bush Central School District for your new home.  We have suburban, village, and rural locations available to choose from.  Give me a call to start your search.

It is nice to see professional people getting involved with youth programs.  We have a lot of Art Shows at the local schools.  All the fire hydrants in Key West are painted tropical colors.  It was done by our middle school.  It gives a nice "Island Feeling" about the community.

That sounds nice Gary. Our kids are our future and we need to give them positive outlets for thier energies.  I have not been to Key West for years.  How is it down that way?  I will be in Orlando next week but I think I would rather be on the beach relaxing than running around for 6 days with Mickey and friends.  Enjoy!
