Loving the New Room on My Home.. It's in the Works!
I am one lucky woman. I have two very talented sons that both work in the home construction business. Either one of them can start from a foundation and go all the way to finish. I am blessed that they both have pity on their mom and use their talents on our home.
Project in progress:
No matter what I did to these pics, they upload needing to rotate. When I rotate them and upload, they still need rotating.. no change. Oh well... sometimes things are just that way.
The windows sills and frames are constructed as one piece and then put in place. They are cedar. Philip did those and also did the other two photographs that I am uploading today.
All frames are cedar on pine walls. DV and his wife Bailey did most of the walls for me and installed the windows.
This is the porch ceiling with recessed lighting in the works. The trim is a dark stained cedar.
I am so going to enjoy this room when it's finished. It will be about 500 sq ft. When we started it, it was going to be my office but we've since moved the office to town.. so it may be a new living room and convert the current living room into a den or music room..
I love all of the wood.. the ceiling is vaulted and will be finished in drywall.
