Potomac Shores is full of activity as the Fall Market approaches. When driving through Potomac Shores you come to realize how strong new homes sales are this year. The reason is simple interest rates have remained low and well this destination community is being well received by buyers.

 As you drive through the streets near Model Row you will see building everywhere. The streets are really starting to look like the original developer renderings when the community was introduced.

New Neighborhood Coming Soon

As you come to the main entrance you will notice clearing on both sides of the road. The left side is for a new neighborhood that will start sales this winter or early spring. And on the right side expect to see the Elementary School which will open in Fall of 2016. See Turquoise Arrow below.

Did you hear about the New Sports Fields

If you drive past the main entrance on  Heritage River Blvd and head down to Saint John Paul there are 29 acres that will be home to  the Recreation Complex will feature nine new sports fields which will be developed by Sun Cal. and they will be shared by Saint John Paul and the Potomac Shores community.  If Maureen Cadigan the Potomac Shores District Supervisor gets her way the fields will be named for a local young woman who grew up in Dumfries and was part of the 2015 World Cup Woman's Soccer Team. See Red Arrows for Location in Community below.

The Shores Club well Underway

 Next the Potomac Shores Club is really starting to take shape. I am always so pleased to see the Architect's renderings come to life. I think that is one of the things I like so much about Sun Cal Development,  what they portray in their marketing materials they bring to life in their community.  That is a very comforting thing when you are a REALTOR helping buyers buy their dream home. It really helps to see the vision taking shape. See Yellow Arrow on Map below.

Potomac Shores Golf Club Features as Wedding Venue

Local Brides and Wedding Planners are starting to realize  Potomac Shores Golf Club offers a spectacular setting for a wedding. In fact, I see many wedding venue opportunities coming as the community grows.  Today brides can use The Potomac Shores Golf Club and early next year the  new 15,000 sq ft Shores Club  will be another ideal location for a wedding. In the future as  the Town Center and the 5-star hotel will surely offer brides other options in the future. It may be hard for many to understand that even though Potomac Shores is still in its infancy it is still a ground floor opportunity!  With several hundred homes completed and at least another 80+ Under contract and construction the Buyers Market has spoken and they Love Potomac Shores.  This fall buyers will find interest rates still hovering at 4% but if you believe the economists say, it is only a matter of time before we see them spike. A 1% increase could drop your buying power by $75,000+ or another way to look at  your payment could be $350.00 more a month for the same house come next summer! If you buy this fall you would be looking moving in the 1st quarter of 2015 and could possibly beat the increases.
