I am excited to share that my brokerage, Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, has a beautiful new website. This was a long time in the making, the biggest obstacle being how many MLS feeds would need to be handled (5, I think? The regional MLS can't get here soon enough!).
The new site is incredibly responsive and designed to work very well with mobile devices. Features shift so the website fits the screen being used and there's a button to allow users to view homes near their current location.
Each listing has a slideshow of pictures viewable from the search results page, but it doesn't load all pictures at once to save users from excessive data usage. It only loads 3 initially and loads the rest when the slideshow is clicked. Users also don't have to click through pages of listings. More automatically load when they get to the bottom of the page.
A clean profile page with the ability to display social media links, an intro video, listings, and more is provided for each agent. However, all Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Agents have their own website to direct their clients to and gather leads through. We still have our team website, but it's nice to know that our company is working hard to present us in a professional fashion. I've worked with a good number of websites and this feature is the most extensive I've ever seen offered by a brokerage. There are multiple layouts to choose from and each have customizable pages, menus, and blogs. A separate dashboard provides a CRM, listing control, and blog interface. There are still some bugs to work out as Sea Coast is a large company with lots of agents, offices, and listings, but Support is working through them quickly.
