Plymouth State University… Plymouth New Hampshire.
I am not the first nor will I be the last person to attend a college out of state, fall in love with the surrounding area and never move back to my home state.
I attending Plymouth State College (now Plymouth State University) back in the 1980’s, it was a great adventure. The allure of the outdoors with skiing in the mountains and the lazy days on the lakes inspired me to stay and make New Hampshire my forever home.
For the Last 30 years I have been a Realtor and in that time I have remained with in 20 miles of my Alma Mata. My son attended Plymouth Region High School, and then went on to the University of New Hampshire (one of the other state universities), times change and interests evolve. Beside my love of Real Estate and the great outdoors, I have found my passion for landscape photography...perhaps this was born out hiking, skiing and exploring the White Mountains. In a happy twist of fate, PSU asked to use one of my pictures of the Pemigewasset River for this years Holiday Greetings Card.
The old saying “You can never go home” maybe wrong…but then again why would you want to when living in New Hampshire is so beautiful.
