What are some great things about Forest Lake?
Forest Lake is an excellent family community. We have a park just across the street and many more near by. There are so many new eateries and restaurants opening up in the area as well. Plus plenty of local shops, ALDI, Cub Foods, Menards, Home Depot for all the necessities. Even Target and Walmart are just a few blocks away.
Why we love the Forest Lake Area:
There are so many activities available: New YMCA being built nearby, a local movie theater, biking and running trails galore, parks. Of course, there is the lake itself with boating, swimming and all kinds of special festivals and events.

The school board is exceptional at making changes to better the schools in the area. They post terrific test scores each year!
What attracted you to the house?
We loved the pace and serenity of the backyard, with a multi-level deck, waterfall with the option to have Koi. The backyard is perfect for bonfires and gatherings with a screened porch, storage shed etc. Our favorite part of the house itself is the beautiful "up north" style addition facing the backyard with a gas fireplace to enjoy and rewind. Wildlife is always nearby as we are surrounded by wood. Yet it was conveniently located near the freeway, shopping and entertainment.
