To everyone who read my blog about the trouble I had purchasing a property involving a seller going through a short sale process,  thanks for the encouragement.  I finally got the seller to sign the release after telling him I would visit him at his house personally.   After all, I'm Italian, and no one takes money from me.

I just never imagined that there would be a hitch with the bank when the seller signed the agreement, and the seller still had ownership to the house.  It had not gone to foreclosure yet!  Live and learn.  Every time I go by the property I beep!  It still sits, and sits, and sits.  The bank has tried to sell it and deal after deal falls through!

Banks are not noted for their insight.  Wonder why they got into this mess.....well it was the same kind of thinking that keeps them from getting out of it.  I get a kick out of the various BPO forms that they use....all structured to the banks way of thinking.  God forbid they would just ask a Realtor for an opinion.
