The John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University is proud to present the MSU Opera Workshop to be held Sunday May 4 at 3pm with a production of "Il giovedi grasso" or Carnival Thursday.
This is a rare one act comic opera by master composer Gaetano Donizetti and it will be performed in the Alexander Kasser Theater. All tickets for the performance are only $15.
This will be the New Jersey premier of this classic opera by Donizetti and will be under the direction of Jeffrey Gall and will be staged with beautiful costumes and performed in Italian with piano.
This John J. Cali School of Music event is presented as part of Peak Performances at Montclair and is also part of the Italian Festival of the Arts and Humanitie at Montclair State University. To order tickets: www.peakperfs.org
