There is a parking lot almost at the end of River Highlands Drive where you leave your car and your worries and hop on to the golf cart that is furnished, cross over two bridges, take a mile long slow ride , then you arrive at our little It is convenient to LSU if you are coming in for a game but dont want to be in the city. It is located about halfway between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. The cottage offers two bedrooms with queen size beds and a large sleeping loft with two full size beds which your kids will love. Cottage has three decks which include a large deck on the water with patio table and chairs, a firepit and two adorondack chairs to lay back and bask in the sun. If you want to enjoy the view of the water but want to be covered the bottom deck will accomodate you quite well. It has a large patio table with several chairs, a swing and a flat screen tv . It is the perfect place to boil crawfish . Right off the den french doors open up to a small top deck which is accessible to kitchen and has a barbecue grill and seating. If you don't want to cook, no worries food is right around the corner.
