The new group Treasure Hunting has been added for the members that like to hunt for Treasures in their area and beyond. Whether it is Rocks, Gems, Fossils, Shells, Antique Bottles or Relics let us know what, how and where you find them.
My serious Treasure Hunting days began on Sanibel Island searching for shells, then doing shell art and on then on to the Peace River for fossils. (Those to be featured on posts to come)
We have added leaf fossils in Utah, agates, petrified wood and various rocks that we have yet to identify. This soon becomes addicting. I can actually get my husband away from work for these adventures. Add four wheelers and it cannot be beat.
I keep track of good sites in all of the States where these and other items can be found. I hope to visit them during my vacations and real estate travels. Treasure Hunters plan their travels around these sites. A long list awaits me of just such adventures
