Spring has sprung here in beautiful Fayette County Texas and the panoramic views just take my breath away. Fayette County is located in the area I call the "in between", in between three major cities in Texas; Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. Highway 71 runs through Fayette County and La Grange from Austin to I10. Hwy 290 also runs through Fayette County through Brenham from Austin to Houston. I 10 connects Houston and San Antonio. One big beautiful traingle "in between".

With spring rains ( a BUNCH this year! ) the wildflowers are prolific, the cattle are fat and shiny, the pastures are bright green, stock tanks are full, and the oaks and pecans have donned their dark leafy summer foliage.
