Meet the Builder Event in Chatham County
Raleigh Custom Home Builder Stanton Homes offers one-on-one conversation forum, with insight for your custom projects from a local builder perspective
Raleigh, NC - Meet-the-Builder, "One Neighbor to Another," at a question-and-answer forum hosted by Stanton Homes on Sunday, September 21, from noon to 4pm at 680 Rebecca Lane in Cattail Creek, just northwest of Pittsboro in Chatham County.
"This is a conversation opportunity for people who aren't sure where to start with their custom home projects," said Stan Williams, CEO of Stanton Homes. "It's all about you - and the questions you have about new construction or remodeling process and procedures - from the point-of-view of your local custom home builder."
"One Neighbor to Another" Meet-the-Builder topics typically touch on these kinds of questions:
• Should my new home have a basement? What's the ballpark cost, and what's involved?
• Can a local home builder build the floor plan I like on the lot I've purchased? (Bring a copy of your plot map, and any neighborhood restrictions.)
• Should I hire a home inspector before the sale is finalized on my new custom home?
• Can I move this wall, or rearrange this kitchen in the floor plan I'm considering?
• Can this floor plan be adjusted to provide some extra space, like a bonus room?
• What's the difference between a "normal" home and an ENERGY STAR home?
• I'm starting to think about retirement. What are the cost implications of a one story home, or a home with a main floor master bedroom?
"Even if you're just starting to think about a new home, bring your blueprints or floor plan, and we'll offer our thoughts about your options, no matter who you're considering as a builder," said Williams. "This opportunity is all about you."
What Should I Do?
Bring your floor plan, blueprints and ideas. Bring us a copy of the floor plan you're considering (even from a website, which usually offer "print" options.) We recommend that you not purchase the full set of blueprints until you are sure the plan will work for your needs and the spot where you are building.
Bring a copy of your plot map, and any neighborhood restrictions.
Or email your plan to Stanton Homes to info@StantonHomes.com, and a Stanton Homes representative will provide an initial estimate with you at the event.
If you're considering building a home in the Raleigh area, Stanton Homes will follow up with a free initial building cost estimate, building on your lot or ours.
