After watching ad nauseum all the political speeches that have been telecast these last few months it’s easy to figure out ‘HOW TO ACT PRESIDENTIAL’...
It can be stated very simply and very easily if you discipline yourself to swim through the mindless and empty rhetoric that many politicians spew on a regular basis, and focus on STYLE AND APPEARANCE...!!! ALL you have to do is HIRE GREAT SPEECH WRITERS AND USE A TELEPROMPTER TO DELIVER YOUR MESSAGE...!!!
You can’t deny the effectiveness of ‘POLITICAL SPEAK’ on the masses...!!! AND this isn’t something that just cropped up during The Obama years...I’ve witnessed this phenomenon ever since the TELEPROMPTER WAS INVENTED...Before that, you could flush out lousy speakers by watching how they kept glancing down at their notes or...perhaps even SPOKE EXTEMPORANEOUSLY...
Just watch Hillary or Barack...Their Heads prance gracefully from left to right as they deliver their message usually in front of a BACKDROP OF FLAGS OR POSED SUPPORTERS...THEY APPEAR TO BE LOOKING DIRECTLY AT YOU, BUT DON’T BE DECEIVED....They are SCRUPULOUSLY SCANNING THEIR TELEPROMPTERS...NOW...those speakers who have mastered the ART OF THE TELEPROMPTER appear to us as really GENUINELY ENGAGED ORATORS...!!!
SO.......How does one FILTER OUT THE PHONY RHETORIC and SEARCH FOR THE TRUTH...??? DON’T LAUGH...BUT THE BIBLE GIVES US A CLUE...NO...THE BIBLE TELLS US THE ANSWER...THE PLAIN TRUTH...AND NOT JUST IN ONE OR TWO RANDOM VERSES...THE NEW TESTAMENT IS REPLETE with references to TRUTH AND HOW TO KNOW IT...BUT...
Just so, I’d like to quote ONE example: “Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. THE WORLD IS A MESS, NOT JUST BECAUSE OF OUR LEADERS, BUT BECAUSE THERE AREN’T ENOUGH GOD FEARING MEN AND WOMEN WILLING TO LIVE BY THE GOOD NEWS THAT JESUS TAUGHT US...!!!
