broadmoorBroadmoor has long been an exclusive Seattle gated community with large homes and quiet streets.  A few minutes from the shops and restaurants of Madison Park as well as easy access to Downtown Seattle and other Seattle and Eastside neighborhoods.  Buying a home in Broadmoor is rarely accomplished for under $1 million, but there tended to be a ceiling on the home values.  This price ceiling seems to be shattered.  According to our quick research there had been only one sale for over $5 million in the past 10 plus years.  Just recently, Ewing and Clark, Seattle's oldest real estate company, sold  this picturesque Broadmoor home  (pictured above and click previous link for more pictures) for $5.1 million and according to the Northwest Multiple Listing Service another Broadmoor home that was recently listed for $6,150,000 went pending after just over 2 weeks on the market.  So not only was the $5 million barrier surpassed, but the $6 million barrier may soon be topped as well.  The future may see even more milestones in the near future.  Broadmoor is experiencing record prices, so it may be time to call your local real estate expert if you live in Broadmoor or want to move there.
