After a hot, muggy, laid back summer, this past week has reminded me why LABOR DAY is coming soon...!!!
This past week has been spent completing FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) forms, equipping a dorm room for a new freshman, finishing up student loans for my son who is a junior at PENN STATE UNIVERSITY, and ending with a FRIDAY FULL OF FAUX PAS...
I’m sure many of you have had those days where almost everything you attempt goes haywire...TODAY HAS BEEN ONE OF THEM...!!!
Summer started out great...I successfully completed my 40 treatments for curing prostate cancer, our family took a pleasant vacation which included NIAGARA FALLS, a visit to the NOTRE DAME CAMPUS, and a brief stay for relaxation at GREAT WOLF LODGE in SANDUSKY, OHIO, and a bumper to bumper brush through CANTON, OHIO, the site of the Professional Football Hall Of Fame (this was a last minute decision that did not take into consideration that it was the day before BRETT FAVRE’s induction)...!!!
SO...SIMPLY PUT...WE HAD A GREAT SUMMER...!!!
Getting ready for return to school(s) and starting new school(s) is not for the faint of heart (and I’m talking as a parent here)...I’m sure it is at least equally traumatic for students and other family members...SO...
LET’S HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND AND KEEP ALL THESE IN OUR PRAYERS...AND THE VICTIMS OF THE ITALIAN EARTHQUAKES...!!!
