Today ActiveRain Ambassador Debbie Reynolds announced a Thanksgiving Post Challenge.
"One thing we all have in common is that we are incredibly blessed. I am issuing a challenge to all. Starting today and each day until Thanksgiving Day write a post about something you are thankful for. It can be big or it can be small. Oftentimes the smallest blessings give the biggest joys."
Debbie is right about small things sometimes giving us the biggest joys. Here is my share of thanks for today.
I am grateful for experiences I've had when traveling to different countries. Seeing so many things that are foreign, hearing languages I don't understand, and yet always finding the universal bonds shared by people everywhere. Here's a photo caturing one of those moments in Spain. I heard at least four different languages spoken as we all shared a smile when this happy child reached for the water from a fountain at Park Guell, Gaudi's wonderland in Barcelona.
