They Don't Build 'Em Like They Used To: Gothic Revival

Industry Observer with The Gombach Group

Lake-Peterson House
Located in the City of Rockford (seat of Winnebago County) Illinois, the Lake-Peterson House is widely considered to be the best example of the Gothic Revival style in all of the State. It was built in 1873. No longer serving as a residence, the structure appears to be owned today by the Swedish Medical Group and is located on the campus of Heart Hospital.

Oh, I would love to see the inside of that house. I love Victorian homes from the 1800s.
